The November Professional Development Social was held at the home of Debbie Rydberg(PartyLite Candles) and co-hosted by: Marnet Waters (Silpada), Melanie Young (Gold Lady) and Marion Foucher (Pampered Chef). It was a great night of networking fun.

The social was an opportunity to learn about True MD and all it has to offer and also it provided an opportunity for members to mingle and network. That is what our June ABWA meeting was all about. All attendants were assigned seating to facilitate networking opportunities. “June Meeting will focus on Networking”

The American Business Women’s Association will host the monthly luncheon at the Imperial Swan Hotel on South Florida Ave. The meeting is scheduled for June 8th, from 11:30 -1pm. Members and visitors are encouraged to bring business cards and network before and after the meeting.

This month’s meeting will focus entirely on networking. The program that will be presented will facilitate networking amongst the members and guests. There is not a guest speaker at this month’s meeting therefore the entire program is devoted to making valuable connections.

The Lakeland Downtown Chapter of ABWA attended the Spring District 1 Conference (April 24th and 25th) in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. We had an opportunity to meet and socialize with some of the key leaders in ABWA. It was a grand opportunity to learn a wealth of ABWA information to bring back to our chapter and increase our professional development.
